Boxwood is a versatile long-lived landscape plant from the classical royal European gardens to modern border plants and is increasingly used as sculptured accent plants in North American gardens.

In the landscape, boxwood is hardy and practically free of common pest, diseases and requires minimum maintenance.

During the summer an occasional deep watering will be sufficient and as such it is a suitable plant for xeriscaping.
